Die Magnetresonanztomographie des Herzens (kardiale Resonanztomographie, MRT) ist ein bildgebendes, strahlenfreies Verfahren, welche als Goldstandard für die Beurteilung der Herzanatomie, -funktion und sogar der Gewebezusammensetzung gilt. Die RESILIENCE-Studie wird das Verfahren der MRT als Hauptergebnismessmethodik verwenden, und die in der Studie eingeschlossenen Patienten erhalten jeweils drei MRT-Untersuchungen im Rahmen der Teilnahme an der Studie.
