It is a great satisfaction for us to announce the incorporation of the Amsterdam UMC Hospital to the RESILIENCE project on November 8th.
Amsterdam UMC is one of the largest academic hospitals in the Netherlands and consists of 2 centers: The Amsterdam UMC located at the AMC (Academic Medical Center) and the Amsterdam UMC, located at the VUMC (Vrije Universiteit Medical Center).
At the Hospital we have met with Marie Jose Kersten, principal investigator; Koen de Heer, coordinator haematologist; Aart J. Nedeveen, image responsible; and the project coordinators, Esra Eyiss and Laurens Grave.
With this Hospital joining the project, RESILIENCE keeps on growing and hopefully patient recruitment will begin in the coming weeks, which will bring our clinical trial closer to more patients so that they may survive cancer with a strong heart.
