RESILIENCE helps you survive cancer with a strong heart

Save the Date: Join the RESILIENCE Open Workshop During Madrid Science and Innovation Week

As part of the Madrid Science and Innovation Week, the RESILIENCE H2020 project invites young people aged 14 to 18 to participate in a free workshop exploring the fascinating connection between heart health and cancer. Through this educational activity, participants will discover how cardiovascular diseases and cancer are linked, and learn about the innovative research being carried out by the RESILIENCE project to improve the quality of life of cancer patients and survivors.

Do you know the relationship between your heart and cancer?

This engaging workshop will introduce participants to the pioneering research being carried out through the RESILIENCE project, a European initiative focused on improving the quality of life of cancer survivors and reducing the risk of heart failure associated with cancer treatments.

Attendees will discover how advanced medical imaging technologies help researchers and clinicians monitor cardiovascular health, including:

  • Cardiac Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)
  • Echocardiography
  • Cardiac Computed Tomography (CT)

Participants will also learn about the innovative approaches being developed within the RESILIENCE clinical research programme and will have the opportunity to interact directly with scientists and healthcare professionals during a dedicated Q&A session.

The activity will be led by members of the RESILIENCE research team, offering a unique opportunity to experience real-world biomedical research and innovation.
