We are happy to share that our RESILIENCE project keeps on growing! Jacques Monod Hospital, part of the Le Havre Hospital Group and a reference hospital in the Seine Estuary Territory in France with a comprehensive range of care, joined RESILIENCE in November.
At our meeting we talked about the project with Christophe Fruit, coordinator at the center with the aim of starting the recruitment at the Hospital in the coming weeks. We shared with him the work we do on RESILIENCE at European level to improve the lives of people undergoing cancer treatment, as we practice a novel healthcare intervention that reduces potential cardiac malfunctioning caused by the cancer treatment while undergoing chemotherapy or after it has ended.
Jacques Monod Hospital includes:
- Short-stay adult medicine along with surgery units
- The women, mothers and children pavilion, which includes pediatrics and gynecology-obstetrics services
- Adult and child emergency services
- The hospital’s logistics area
The Le Havre Hospital Group has more than 1,500 beds and places spread across different sites: Flaubert Hospital, Jacques Monod Hospital, Pierre Janet Hospital and the “Mary Thieullent” Institute of Paramedical Training. It cooperates on numerous missions with the Rouen University Hospital Center to promote access to care and continuity of care for the population.
