Hjerte-magnetisk resonans (HMR) er en stråle-fri scanningsteknik, der giver den bedste standard til evaluering af hjertets anatomi, funktion og endda vævssammensætning. I RESILIENCE-forsøget anvendes HMR som den primære metode, og patienter vil i forsøgspersioden modtage 3 af disse scanninger.
RESILIENCE-forsøget er et multinationalt, prospektivt, proof-of-concept fase II, dobbeltblindet, sham-kontrolleret, randomiseret klinisk forsøg (RCT) til at evaluere effekten og sikkerheden af fjern iskæmisk prækonditionering (RIC) hos patienter med Lymfom der modtager kræftbehandling med antracykliner. Forsøgsdeltagelse forudsætter ≥5 planlagte kemoterapibehandlinger.
