In the framework of the European Researchers’ Night and the Science and Innovation Week to be celebrated in Madrid on September and November, our team RESILIENCE has planned two activities open to the public from 14 to 18 years old upon registration.
We are organizing two workshops under the title “Do you know the relationship between your heart and cancer?”. Participants will have the opportunity to learn about the connection between cancer and the heart through the RESILIENCE research project, which aims to improve the quality of life of cancer patients.
Attendants will learn about the application of technologies such as cardiac magnetic resonance imaging, echocardiography, and cardiac tomography, as well as the innovations developed in this clinical trial. There will be a dedicated time for questions and answers that will allow participants to engage with the experts and discuss the topics further.
The activities will be guided by members of the RESILIENCE team.
RESILIENCE H2020 is a project funded by the European Commission to reduce the incidence of heart failure in patients who have overcome cancer.
