A ressonância magnética cardíaca (RMC) é uma técnica sem radiação, considerada padrão para avaliação da anatomia, função e até composição do tecido cardíaco. O estudo RESILIENCE usará a RMC como a principal metodologia para medir os resultados da intervenção e os doentes inscritos no estudo serão submetidos a três exames ao longo da duração do estudo.
Ensaio clínico multinacional, prospectivo, de prova de conceito, de fase II com dupla ocultação, controlado com simulação, aleatorizado (RCT) para avaliar a eficácia e segurança do Condicionamento Isquémico Remoto (RIC) em doentes com linfoma não Hodgkin (LNH) que são tratados com antraciclinas. Os doentes programados para receberem pelo menos 5 ciclos de quimioterapia com antraciclinas são elegíveis para participar no estudo.
