RESILIENCE helps you survive cancer with a strong heart

Initial visit at the San Carlos Clinical Hospital

On Friday June 16th we made the initial visit at the San Carlos Clinical Hospital in Madrid and it is with great pleasure that we welcome this Hospital to our RESILIENCE project, in which we work hard every day to help people survive cancer with a strong heart.

During the visit we met with the entire research team of the San Carlos Clinical Hospital that will be part of the RESILIENCE project; among them Dr. Celina Benavente, Principal Investigator of Hematology at the center; and Rosa Tarradas, coordinator of clinical trials of the hematology service. The whole team became familiar with the project details trying firsthand the RESILIENCE remote ischemic conditioning device to see how the therapy works.

The San Carlos Clinical Hospital is expected to begin recruiting patients in the coming weeks so that the patients themselves are the ones who are aware of the RESILIENCE therapy and benefit from it.

The San Carlos Clinical Hospital has more than 5,000 professionals, being the main center of reference in the training of health professionals at the Complutense University of Madrid. It is a national and international benchmark for the level of its facilities and its professionals.
