Le projet RESILIENCE développera une nouvelle intervention de soins de santé (Préconditionnement ischémique distal, RIC) visant à réduire la prévalence de l’insuffisance cardiaque chronique chez les survivants du cancer.

Selon l’OMS, l’incidence du cancer devrait augmenter d’environ 70 % au cours des 20 prochaines années. La moitié des personnes diagnostiquées avec un cancer survivront pendant au moins une décennie, et ce taux de survie devrait augmenter considérablement à l’avenir.
