Das RESILIENCE-Projekt

Das RESILIENCE-Projekt wird eine neuartige Gesundheitsintervention (die ferngesteuerte ischämische Konditionierung, RIC) entwickeln, die darauf abzielt, die Prävalenz chronischer Herzschwäche (Herzinsuffizienz) bei Krebsüberlebenden zu verringern.

Reduktion der Herzinsuffizienz bei Krebsüberlebenden

Laut WHO wird die Inzidenz der Krebsdiagnose in den nächsten 20 jahren voraussichtlich um etwa 70 % steigen. Die Hälfte der Krebspatienten wird mindestens ein Jahrzehnt überleben, und es wird erwartet, dass diese Überlebensrate in Zukunft erheblich steigen wird.

Ferngesteuerte-ischämische Konditionierung

Ferngesteuerte-ischämische Konditionierung (RIC) ist ein Phänomen durch das kurze, reversible Episoden von Okklusion und Reokklusion in einem Organ (z. B. einem Arm) entfernte Organe widerstandsfähig gegen Verletzungen machen.

Multidisziplinäres Konsortium

Wir zählen auf ein multidisziplinäres Konsortium, in dem verschiedene Interessengruppen, von Wissenschaftlern bis zur Industrie und von Gesundheitsdienstleistern (Ärzten und Krankenschwestern) bis zu Patienten, Teil der Studie sind.
