The RESILIENCE project

The RESILIENCE project will develop a novel healthcare intervention (Remote Ischemic PreConditioning, RIPC) aimed at reducing the prevalence of chronic heart failure in cancer survivors.  The new therapy will be validated by executing an early proof of concept randomized clinical trial; in addition, a novel bioimaging marker able to identify very early stages of cardiac damage in patients undergoing anti-cancer therapy will be validated within the same set of patients enrolled in the clinical trial.
