Cardiale magnetische resonantie

MRI van het hart (of cardiale magnetische resonantie, CMR) is een afbeeldingstechniek die werkt zonder straling, en wordt beschouwd als de gouden standaard voor de beoordeling van de anatomie, functie en zelfs weefselsamenstelling van het hart. De RESILIENCE-studie zal CMR gebruiken als de belangrijkste uitkomstmaatmethodologie, en patiënten die aan de studie deelnemen, zullen gedurende de duur van de studie drie MRI scans ondergaan.
